This representation exercise analyzes and re-appropriates film techniques that can translate to architectural communication. Studying double exposure images of Rene Magritte, the images created emulate this technique to create a value of nostalgia around image making in architecture. Using the double exposure technique strives to connect with audiences in order to create a relationship of nostalgia between the viewer and the image.
Aldo Rossi and the San Cataldo Cemetery are the subjects of the exercise.
